MedVR is a new tracheostomy care training system built around
an immersive mixed reality simulation that combines virtual reality (VR), audio
effects, and tactile haptics. Realistic bedside simulations recreate
high-fidelity, high-pressure situations where individuals or groups must take
critical action quickly and dexterously. The app was developed in collaboration
with Cardiff Hospital and Vale to improve the quality and accessibility of
simulation-based training.
